For some reason, when I visit a museum, I always feel like the character of an Alfred Hitchcock mystery movie.
I want to look mysterious yet cute. For me, this calls for the sixties-inspired look. Each period has its theme, 1800s romantic, 1920s exuberance, 30s, and 40s the vamp and film noirs, 50s girl next door, and the sixties audacious and cute!
What is interesting about the sixties is how fashion classics have been reinterpreted. It is also the introduction of synthetic fabric. I am not a big fan of polyester, but now we can adapt the designs with a more natural approach and keep the synthetic for the accessories (vintage if you can.)
